Miellie Meadows offers a variety of services. We showcase both Specialty Equestrian services, as well as the opportunity to rent our beautiful facility for a variety of special events. Board Space for outside boarders is limited and we often have a waiting list. We like our boarders to enjoy customized care and a family atmosphere. All board is full care. This includes 3 feedings per day of mostly organic feed, daily cleaning of stall, scheduling of routine vet care, scheduling of monthly hoofcare if desired, and full use of our facility. Horses boarding with us on a long term basis are required to be barefoot. Short term boarders, vet clients, and haul in’s are welcome to be shod. As well as normal board where you take advantage of our great riding facility, keep us in mind for your rehab, mare and foal care, R and R for your show horse, and retirement boarding needs. Services on site. Her vet barn is equipped with custom made examination stocks, huge foaling stalls with video monitoring and rubber brick rehab paddocks. Dr. Schwichtenberg performs all routine vet services such as vaccinations, teeth, lameness diagnosis, x rays pre purchase exams etc. She also specializes in equine reproduction and can provide such services as AI, Frozen semen, embryo transfers, stallion collection, mare care and all your reproductive needs. Kerstin has also studied the equine hoof in detail and can give a very good hoof evaluation and recommendation for soundness. All Miellie Meadows Boarders are under her care. Barefoot Hoofcare Miel Bernstein is trained in High Performance and rehabilitative barefoot trimming and hoof evaluation. A number of services are available by Miel and her hoofcare team. Monthly trimming is available for all of our boarders if desired. Miel provides hoofcare for a variety of performance, and pleasure clients that want to maintain healthy, sound, natural hooves. She also has good success helping heal a variety of hoof problems. Most clients trailer in monthly. Miel will travel to see some clients who can’t trailer in. A collaborative effort between Miel and Dr. Schwichtenberg is available for hoof problem evaluations and long term solutions. Please contact us for details. Apprenticeships in Barefoot Hoofcare available. Facility Rentals Miellie Meadows is set in the Gorgeous Harrison Valley. We have a beautiful facility, including our amazing show barn. Some of the amenities in our barn include two heated washrooms with showers, a beautiful meeting room/ classroom with kitchen, two heated wash stalls, 200 x 100 riding arena, and indoor round pen. Our facility is available for your show, clinic, class, and meeting needs. We can make part or all of it available. We are also available for movie shoots and wedding photos.
