16.1 dark bay branded Holsteiner CSH owner Kelley Allen.
We are so lucky to have such a well bred stallion here in BC He is one of, if not the only Cor de la Bryére sons standing in Canada. This lovely stallion only begun his breeding career a few years ago at 18. He has a lovely disposition, good movement and wonderful jumping technique. He carries some of the best bloodlines in the world. As a young stallion he won his 2 year old Koring in Belgium. Coeur de Lion has proved himself as an exceptional sire, with two Canadian approved sons, as well as many offspring winning in the jumper ring and on the line. We have one lovely colt from 2003, Courage, and we love him so much we bred Dixie back for a second foal expected in 2004.

This stallion is one of the most famous jumping sires of all times; he has even been called the STALLION OF THE CENTURY. Ramiro stood at stud in Westfalia, Zangersheide, Holland, and Holstein, and has influenced most of the great European Studs, as well as many breeding programs around the world. He was the Top stallion at his stallion test in 1969. He himself had a very successful jumping career under Fritz Ligges and excelled in the puissance and grand prix classes. His offspring were also successful from the beginning showing at the grand prix level in show jumping as well as dressage. Ramiro has about 50 licensed sons and numerous ster and premium daughters. In 92, at jumping Amsterdam he was named horse of the year based on his breeding success, and he still tops the list for jumping sires in the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horse Index. Ramiro is the Sire to Radjah Z and grand sire to our future broodmare Amrita. Popeye K also carries Ramiro lines on his dam's side. We are so fortunate to have this wonderful sire in our bloodlines and look forward to many foals in the future.

In 2002, he began his show career in the hunter ring and after one week, and many wins at 3', he easily moved up to 3'6" and placed very well. Recently this lovely young stallion was purchased as a private show horse, and is currently not available for breeding. Popeye's first crop of foals are fabulous and were very successful on the line at the 2003 Royal Winter Fair. Popeye is sire to our Papaya and Poseidon. 16.2 Light Bay Selle Français, Zangersheide.
This stallion was highly underrated until later in his life. He first served as a breeding stallion in France. He was later moved to The Netherlands to stand at the famous Zangersheide stud. In his late years, once his value as a great stud was truly appreciated, he returned to serve in France again. It is amazing that a stallion who never stood at stud in Germany, could have had such a strong influence on all the German breeds. Almé himself competed successfully in the international jumper ring, and produced many top international performers. Some examples of his famous offspring are Galoubet, I Love You, and Jalisco. Almé Z blood is found throughout the world in the lines of many top horses. Almé Z has become one of the best known sires of our times. Almé is the sire of the dam of Radjah Z. He is thus carried in the blood of our future broodmare prospect Amrita.
